We love coming out to gyms in the community to share the knowledge and experience we have in nutrition and health to help everyone achieve their goals no matter their fitness level or health background! Although, if travel costs are an issue, or you are international, we are happy to run the workshop as an online live webinar.

A 6-week Nutrition and Lifestyle Program with The Chief Life for your members includes:

  • A personalised meal plan package, tailored to your needs;
  • A live in person or online webinar workshop/educational seminar;
  • 6 weeks support via a private Facebook group.

The 1.5-2 hour nutrition workshop covers the basic science, mindset blockages around nutrition, goal setting and the “How to…” to set your members up for success from the start.

The Facebook group allows your members to communicate with us throughout the challenge, ask us questions and post photos of their food and/or weekly progress updates to help keep them accountable as they create new habits during the 6 weeks program.

The personalised meal plan allows us to tailor our templates to the individuals needs, based on their measurements, health background, goals and food dislikes/intolerances/allergies.

Dietitian and Level 3 CrossFit Trainer, Stacey Turner and L3 CrossFit Trainer, Matty Turner – of The Chief Life – want to work with your gym to chat all things food, mindset and achieving results. They will give you the knowledge and tools to make a positive and sustainable change to your daily eating habits and help you to achieve your goals whether they are to lean up, gain muscle or improve energy and performance or maybe just to improve overall health and quality of life!

Eating healthy isn’t about starving yourself or removing all the nice foods from your diet. It’s about creating a balanced lifestyle which fits in with your busy schedule and doesn’t punish you for wanting to be healthy.

At The Chief Life we’re geared to providing personalised meal plans to help you achieve your health and fitness goals through nutrition and positive lifestyle changes. These plans compliment any kind of training regime, especially CrossFit! 

STACEY TURNER, is qualified as a dietitian, and nutritionist, with a BSc (Honours) in Nutritional Science from Sydney University, and as a personal trainer and Level 3 CrossFit Trainer, she has a wide knowledge base in numerous areas of health and wellbeing. She has been assisting people with their nutrition for almost 10 years and achieving great success through giving people a basic nutrition education so they can take control and responsibility of their own actions.

She is an avid CrossFitter and has past coaching experience since 2009 at CrossFit Ignite Sydney, CrossFit Bare and CrossFit Active, CrossFit CrossAxed, CrossFit Torian as well as running her own affiliate for a year  – CrossFit StarFit – before moving North to Queensland for the sun and to follow her heart (bless).

She was part of the CrossFit HQ Seminar Team from 2011-2016, involved in training up new trainers using the CrossFit methodology at weekend Seminars all over Australia, New Zealand and occasionally further afield… Spreading the wonderful work of CrossFit and helping to “Perfect Human Movement”. She stopped working on CFHQ staff to pursue her passion to help educate people about nutrition and health through The Chief Life.

She has competed in CrossFit both as an individual athlete at the 2010 CrossFit Sectionals placing to compete at Regionals, and in a team at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2011. She placed 61st in the 2012 CrossFit Open, missing out on individual competition at the Regionals by one spot but enjoyed competing with the CrossFit Active Team who placed 10th. In the 2013 Open, she placed top 100 again – finishing up 79th in the Region. 2014 was a 164th place finish out of over 4,000 women in Australia and 305th finish in 2015 out of almost 8,000 women in Australia. This year she dabbled outside of CrossFit, having a crack at Fitness Modelling for something different – and with 2 months to prep, took out a 3rd place finish (Fitness Novice Short Division) and 1st place finish (Fitness Intermediate Open Division) at the AWNBS Queensland Competition and a 4th place finish in the Fitness Open Division at the ANB Asia Pacific Competition. During this prep she went from 17.2% body fat to 12.3% on her final competition day, all through eating using The Chief Life recommendations. Her next goal is to compete in the sport of Weightlifting.

Matthias (Matty) Turner, also an experienced CrossFitter, has had a great deal of success training people with a balance of movement, food and mindset to help them achieve their goals – not only inside the gym but also outside. He has a calm and patient demeanour with a no bullshit attitude and makes you want to work hard just because he is such a positive and motivating individual.

He has been coaching CrossFit since 2012 and been in the fitness industry since 2009. He has overcome challenges in his own life and uses these experiences to guide others to be the best version of themselves they can be. He currently coaches at CrossFit CrossFit Boss, as well as having past coaching experience at CrossFit CrossAxed and CrossFit Torian.

Matty achieved travelling reserve status for the team going to the CrossFit Games in 2016 with CrossFit Torian, due to his amazing performance in the 2016 CrossFit Open. He has competed and placed at a few local comps over the last few years including WODStock and Semper Paratus.

Matty and Stace follow as clean a way of eating as possible (what most people call eating “REAL FOOD” or “wholefoods”, may also be known as paleo/primal, but more about eating wholefoods rather than a super strict set of rules). It’s up to you how hardcore you go in this journey – we will give you our Gold Standard which will get you the best results and you can choose how much you modify back to suit your lifestyle or the timeline for which you want to reach your goal.

In changing their eating patterns Stacey and Matty have acknowledged and enjoyed amazing results and benefits both within their training as well as their everyday life. Stacey has dietetic experience in clinical and community nutrition as well as private consulting.
