I originally decided to get Matty and Stacey's help because I had just had a baby and I wanted to make sure I was fuelling my body with nutritious foods. I not only needed help with getting my energy levels back up, but I wanted to get my training back to how it was pre-baby, losing my extra baby fat, and most importantly I wanted to make sure I was giving Ollie (my then 2-month old) as many nutrients through my breast milk as possible.

Within two weeks I could feel and notice positive changes within my body and energy levels. One thing I didn't notice a difference in was my breastmilk.... which is awesome! Not only am I a new mum, I also work part time as a hairdresser in a local salon, and I'm also a CrossFit trainer at CrossFit Boss, so time isn't something I have a lot of, (some days I have 2 hours to eat lunch, some days I have 2 minutes) but by putting the effort in and taking 1.5 hours to food prep the majority of my meals on a Sunday, it meant that I didn't have to think about cooking or preparing something during the day and I could spend more time with my little man.

It's now been 8 months since starting The Chief Life and honestly it was one of the best decisions I have made. I'm much wiser on which foods are going to benefit mine and Ollie’s needs. I won't lie, I don't stick to the plan 100% all the time. I would say I am more 80/20 (80% Chief Life, 20% whatever I feel like) but even when I'm not following the plan perfectly, I am much wiser on which foods I do pick to eat and I usually try to make sure I include fats, protein and carbs in every meal.

I'm so grateful I found The Chief Life when I did because it has benefitted my training, my body, my mindset on food and also given my little man the best head start in life by making sure he is getting all the right nutrients to help him grow big and strong.

Getting my nutrition on track was always something I had wanted to do, but I put it in the "one day" bucket. After listening to the chief life podcast for the last 12months & coming to know what Stace & Matty were about I decided it was time for "one day". I've just finished my first 6 weeks of chiefing......and I'm feeling amazing! I always ate relatively well, but I knew I under ate & really struggled energetically. After choosing a program that would improve my energy levels, I'm sleeping better, have more energy for training & don't find myself slumping towards the end of the day or week with that tired feeling! I found the program really easy to get used to, and the meals were simple to prepare & tasted amazing. Although my physical changes were not drastic, it was nice that people started to notice little changes in my body. But the biggest change has without a doubt been on the inside & also my mindset towards choosing better food options for myself.

Starting weight was 96kgs and this morning i weighed in at 87.9 total weight loss is 8.1

Starting waist circumference was 94cm ending is 88cm

Starting hip circumference was 94cms ending is 89cms

I'm very happy with those numbers!

I'm not sure about body fat % as I've not had the chance to get one recently.

It's not only about weight loss. For Felicia it was about improving her health markers, particularly her cholesterol. When she came to us her triglycerides were at 3 mmol/L and total cholesterol of 7.3. After just 6 weeks of being on The Chief Life meal plan and training program she's taken her triglycerides down to 0.5 and total cholesterol to 5.8! On 3 June I began my journey to a fitter, healthier me. I had comfort eaten my way through our first 6 months here in Australia and knew I had to do something about it. I was on a sugar/carb crash cycle every day, drinking coke, eating chocolate, biscuits and crisps and skipping meals. Not to mention the bread, pasta and pizza. I was exercising a lot, but my diet was shocking.

So, I did something about it, initially with the help of Lisa Williams and Scott Williams. I have managed to eat well (mostly) for 3 months now. I still struggle with sweet things and really struggle to say no to pizza when it's in front of me, but because I now feel so awful when I do eat it, I am finding it easier all the time and so finally feel this is a permanent change and not a quick fix.

I started the SFS challenge on 1 Aug. This opened to my eyes to the fact I can actually eat A LOT of food, not feel hungry and still lose weight and get healthier. I've enjoyed the variety and the fact the plan is not too prescriptive. The support and knowledge from Stacey and Matt has been invaluable - thank you for sharing this and supporting all the way. You have honestly set me up for life and the knock on effect is the impact this will have on my family's health and well being. This is priceless.

So, my stats are as follows:

3 June: weight 63.5kg, fat 27%
1 Aug: weight 59kg, fat 24.4%, Hips 97.5cm, waist 74cm
8 Sep: weight 54.7kg, fat 22%, hips 95cm, waist 72cm

Even though the tape measurements aren't that impressive the reduction in cellulite is the best bit about this for me - I never thought this could happen! Still a long way to go in terms of fat and cellulite and determined to be even better in another 3 months when we go to Fiji for Christmas (my new bikini in the last pic)! Oh, and the thought of being able to wear shorts this summer is really very exciting!

I have to say this was the easiest to follow and stick to challenge I have done. Being held accountable at the end of every week was enough to get me through the harder days !!

And the 4 week results are in!
Start to Finish:
Weight 68.7kg - 66.7kg = 2kg Loss
Waist 79cm - 90cm = 3cm loss
Hips 93cm - 90cm = 3cm Loss

I am pretty happy with the results I have gained within the four weeks.
My goal wasn't based on weight loss but more so to get my "mojo" back after the Christmas break, and this four weeks did just that!
I actually feel like the chief life plan is apart of my way of living now, I wasn't 100% strict in the 4 weeks but in saying that I was still able to have chief life balanced meals while eating out with the girls or the hubby!
Performance wise, I've been really hard on myself but looking back on my tracker I've actually killed it in the last four weeks! 😂
My running has improved big time! That's a massive goal for me this year as it's something that I've always struggled with in WOD's, I swear 400m puts me in heart attack zone 😂
Something I was a bit surprised with was the improvement with gymnastics movements, getting out my first strict dips/ strict handstand push ups and handstand walk!
Overall I am one happy mum! 💃🏻👌 This challenge has been the kick up the ass that I needed this year
Massive thank you to Stacey Lee Harris & Matthias Turner for this programing, it's one thing to produce a plan for us but your support and encouragement is above and beyond awesome! I personally don't think I would have stuck with it and done as well as I have without your help.

"The first 2 photos show the before and after of a 30-day Real Food Experience I did with my gym back in 2015 and everyone got fantastic results!!! My goal was to get down to a particular weight in order to lift in that weight class for Olympic Weightlifting at some point in the future and I achieved my goal through eating real food in the right amounts as we recommend in our meal plans and following a CrossFit program. I went from 60kg to 57.8kg, and decreased my waist and hips each by 5cm... It's so easy to eat clean and see great results - I love to share my knowledge to help other people achieve their goals too! "Last weekend I finished a 6 week nutrition program with CrossFit Tannum Sands by The Chief Life . The photo doesn't do justice to how much better I feel, and it can't show you the increase in energy and improved performance I have experienced at the gym. But the numbers don't lie. Before weight - 70.6kg, 18.1% body fat. After weight - 66.7kg, 14.3% body fat. (By the way, my weight was 79.2kg and 34% body fat when I started CrossFit in 2013).

The meal plan was easy to follow, and I really enjoyed having the structure and support from these guys and will continue using the meal plan and info I've learned as a guide for my nutrition into the future."
